This policy explains how Nes Experience Limited uses personal information when you visit this website, contact us or book a consultation with us.
1. Who we are
Nes Experience Limited (“Nes Experience”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17339282, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal information collected through this website. You can contact us at Custodian@nesexperience.com.
If you submit an enquiry through a campaign landing page that we run for one of our clients, the privacy notice shown on that page explains how your information is used. This policy covers this website only.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your name, company, email address, the services you are interested in and anything you write when you use our enquiry form.
- Details you provide when you book a consultation through our online calendar, which is provided by Google.
- Anything you send us by email or through LinkedIn.
Information collected automatically
- If you accept analytics cookies, information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device and browser type.
- Our hosting provider keeps technical server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.
We do not ask for sensitive information through this website. Please do not include it in your messages.
3. How and why we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running our business and responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
- To provide our services and manage our relationship with clients. Our legal basis is performing a contract.
- To understand and improve this website. Our legal basis is your consent, given through the cookie notice.
- To keep the website secure and meet our legal obligations. Our legal bases are our legitimate interests and compliance with the law.
- To send you marketing emails. We only do this where the law allows it, and every marketing email includes a way to opt out.
4. Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us run the website and our business, such as web hosting (Namecheap), email, online scheduling and calendar services (Google), analytics (Google Analytics, only if you consent) and font delivery (Google Fonts).
- Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and insurers, where needed.
- Regulators, law enforcement or other authorities where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Transfers outside the UK
Some of our providers, including Google, process information outside the UK. Our team also works across more than one country, including Nigeria, so personal information may be accessed from outside the UK. Where this happens, we make sure a lawful transfer mechanism is in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as we need them to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, generally no more than 24 months if no work follows. Client records are kept for the length of our relationship and for as long as the law requires, for example accounting records. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our analytics account.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files placed on your device. We use the following:
- Strictly necessary. We store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage so we do not ask you again. This does not need consent.
- Analytics (only if you accept). Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga to tell us how visitors use the site. We use this to improve it.
You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. This website also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google when the page loads.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances;
- ask us to restrict how we use your information, or object to our use of it;
- ask for your information in a portable format, where it applies; and
